This is a very important post - Please Read It. It will affect your gameplay!

New Faction Relation System
  • Enemy - Like Normal.
  • Truce - This is the new ally, they have the same commands as what we had before the update.
  • Ally - This new relation allows Allied factions to break and place blocks inside your faction claimed land. However they will NOT be able to get into your chests. 
  • Neutral - Like normal.


New Faction Rank System
  • There is now a brand new system to prevent griefing. Factions have four new inside ranks. Recruit, Member, Officer and Leader. 
  • Recruit: You have limited access to certain features of Factions, this is to prevent griefing. This needs to be fully explored.
  • Member: You now have more permissions in the faction, equivalent to that of a normal member before. 
  • Officer: Effectively the same as the old style FACTION MODERATOR.
  • Leader: Effectively the same as the old style FACTION ADMIN.


New Faction Commands! 
  • /f promote and /f demote: Used to promote and demote members inside the faction. 
  • /f leader: Replaced the /f admin command. It promotes players to Leader.
  • /f officer: Promote players to Officer Rank.
  • /f truce <Faction>: Gives a faction this new standing. 
  • /f access f/p: Allows you to give access to a specific chunk to either a player or faction. 
  • /f sc OR /f Seechunk: Gives you the outlines of the chunk while stood still.
Please be aware guys - There have been a few commands that have been removed. The one we are aware of is the command /f owner. This has been removed, and i believe also along with it all ownered land. Also - FACTION CHAT has been removed. Not by us, but by the plugin developers. It may be added back in at a later date.



FAST SOUP

Unfortunately, a lot of you were really excited for fast soup and the plugin failed. The update was too old for our server so we were not able to use it. 


OBSIDIAN DESTROYER

Obsidian Destroyer has now been implemented into the server. Obsidian has a durability of 50. Each explosion of tnt will bring it down a point. So it will take 50 tnt to break a block. Changes will be made in the future if needed. You can check how much durability a block of obsidian has by holding a red rose in your hand and lift clicking on the block. It resets after 600000 seconds. You can still protect your base as best as you can with water.

To those who are still waiting for their donation items, you will have to wait. We have over 300 minecraft accounts who have some sort of donation rank. Giving it out to you all is beginning to be a long process. 

The server has reset perfectly, with not many issues. On top of that we have managed to get the spawn up and running fairly quickly. I think it looks great! 

We will be adding Obsidian Destroyer plugin into the server soon enough, so make sure you all have water covering your bases. Also we will be adding FastSoup by popular demand.

Hello all, Kyarace here. 

Just a few major changes to come in the future.

- We will be removing McMMO in future updates, we feel the players aren't connecting with it, and so to bring people closer and remove the competition we are removing the McMMO plugin for good. 

- Staff members will now be on a 50,000 econ salary per day in the server to give a little back to them when they themselves put so much time into helping everyone! 

- Factions will see some changes, we will be rolling out a 5 player cap per faction to reduce alts. Also we will make it so that if you die, you lose 20 power straight away. Making it easier for people to raid as we have gotten rid of the Wither. 

ALSO - There is a strong possibility that we will might get rid of Factions for Towny, however i plan to hold a staff/admin meeting on this.

For Help with going back to 1.4.7 Read Below. (For Window Users ONLY)

Go to your start menu and type %appdata% then press enter. 
Open your .minecraft folder
Then go to your bin folder
Take the minecraft.jar you just downloaded, copy and paste it into that folder
If it asks to replace it, click YES. 
You should be able to load up minecraft 1.4.7 now and play on DarkRevil :)

Okay we are doing a number of changes which I will go into now. 

We are adding a 750 Euro Rank, instead of the 600 one. The reason for this is that we are running out ideas for rank names and donation rewards, thus instead of slowly going up to 1000, bit by bit, we will just stick with a 750 -> 1000 when and if its asked for. 

Some changes to current donations.

Adding two new commands to D5 -
/recipe which allows you to look up how items are made. 
/book which will allow you to edit already made books. 

From now on, you can no longer donate half way to a rank and get some commands from the next rank. People who already have this will continue to have this, however all new donations WILL need to be straight to a rank. 

The New Contribution Rank - 750 - MoneyBags


Anyone who will contribute to this amount will receive:
- KIT dtools - This will feature a custom pickaxe, spade and a hat.


- KIT fireworks - Custom made fireworks.
- KIT dec - Decoration materials for example Glowstone, Netherbrick, Lapis etc.

Disguise Craft - Turn into a Pig/Cow/Chicken 

Faction Individual Player Power Boost (Yet to be decided)

Along with additional Diamond + Obsidian + Spawners

I will be attending a LAN party in Denmark from the 26th of March to the 2nd April. It is a small gathering of friends that wish to slowly grow the LAN each year, and hopefully create some sort of business out of it, much like Dreamhack.

Currently, we are at around 15 - 20 people going, and we have space for another 10 - 15. I doubt any of you will want to attend, however i am opening the invitation to you all.

We are very sorry for that. There was a problem with the permissions so all permissions had to be redone over again. Donators and staff did lose their ranks. If your rank is missing and any permissions you were supposed to have please make a post about it or comment on this thread with your Full In Game Name and tell us what you are missing.
